In present day Italy, the Zampognaro (shepherd with bagpipe) plays the Novena, the nine days leading up to Christmas… a celebration and announcement of the birth of Christ. It’s the Italian version of caroling – people gather, singing songs passed down through the generations. WT-007 Factory sealed. #27243 Demdaco 2013 Willow Tree, “Dance of Life,” angel music box. It features the song Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.” This is being sold new in box with factory seal. The bag is open at the bottom because I needed to make sure this music box worked and it is in excellent working condition. Easily wind up and the angel twirls to Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The music box with base stands approximately 8.75” tall and 5.76” wide. The last two pictures are a sample of what it looks out of the factory seal from another listing I have up.
